the world wide web is awesome. its so awesome in fact that almost all of your interests rotate around it. there are so many things you can look up, things you've been thinking about all day! unfortunately, there is no way for you to look up your interests when you're in class away from the computer. fortunately, it's computer lab day! what should you look up first?
vocaloid
jackie introduced you to vocaloid. you two sing them in the hallways during your shared lunch period. she emails you karaoke videos of vocaloid songs. she has a kaito voice, you have a rin voice. she always sings the deeper part of the songs. you don' mind, you're weirdly proud of how high your voice can go.
your favorite vocaloid is rin. it just so happens that pantsu nugeru mon was the first song jackie ever sent you. a lot of people discover vocaloid through world is mine, and you feel just a little bit smug that youre different.
whats your favorite vocaloid song? it's hard to say, it seems to change every week! recently you finally listened to that song jackies been asking you to listen to for weeks (eh, ah sou), that's your current favorite but youve had many current favorites.
some of them don't even count as vocaloid songs, but to be honest its all vocaloid to you. its a robot, its japanese, its vocaloid. they dont even have english vocaloids! okay, well, they do but they suck and no one uses them. nowadays, in 2011, if you want to make an english vocaloid song you have to use luka. she has the best english accent. they announced an english vocaloid (oliver?), but youre not sure if hell be good. you dont think theres much of a future for english vocaloids.

kids at school always make fun of you for being emo. you're not even emo! you're scene. or maybe scemo.you're only 11, you don't have a good sense for labels yet. all you know is that you want lip piercings, and a huge black fringe with pink racoon tails, and studded belts and black skinny jeans.
you found this one girl on youtube recently who does hair and makeup tutorials! you want to look like her so bad, but your parents probably wouldn't let you. they don't like when your hair is in your face. stephanie has cool hair like that, you're so jealous.
there are scene boys too. honestly you think they look better than the girls (and you're bi, so its not like youre biased). you like how androgynous they are. you wish you could be feminine in the way that emo boys are feminine. but you can't. then you'd just be normal feminine, and the idea of that makes your skin crawl. you're just not like other girls, you guess.
